6:30-8:30 p.m. for grade 4-adults
Each year the American Library Association chooses the most distinguished books in children's literature for the Newbery, Printz and Caldecott awards. Join Librarian Sarah Bean Thompson, former Printz Committee and Caledecott Committee member, to discuss the nominees and choose our own award winners. Ask a librarian for the reading list for each session. To participate in the discussion, you must read at least two titles from the list. Interested in how award committees work but can't read the books in time? Sit it on the discussion and watch the process.
