Canoeing: Intro to Canoeing and Stream Fishing

Date: Wednesday, July 11, 2018 - 9:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Pineville Public Access

This float will allow beginners to learn the basics of canoeing and river fishing on a 4 mile guided float trip on Big Sugar Creek. No groups, this program is for individuals 15 years and older only. Anyone ages 15 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

The float is led by MDC staff using MDC provided canoes. Shuttle transportation is provided. Participants 16 years of age and older must possess a valid Missouri fishing license. This event is free; however, participants are responsible for their own lunch, refreshments and supplies, i.e. hat, glasses, sun screen, etc.
