Missouri Blueberry School


Want to Grow Blueberries?

Have you ever wanted to just grow your own blueberries? Here’s your chance…

Join us for the 2019 Missouri Blueberry School located at Missouri State University's Darr Agricultural Center, Springfield, Missouri on Friday, February 22 (8 am - 5 pm) and Saturday, February 23 (8 am - 5 pm).

Friday will consist of educational classroom sessions including sessions for both beginning and seasoned blueberry growers. Also included will be a keynote presentation from Dr. Gary Pavlis from Rutgers University. Dr. Pavlis has been an agricultural Extension agent and professor at Rutgers for over 30 years. His specialty area includes commercial blueberry production.

Saturday will consist of blueberry farm tours in the Joplin and Northwest Arkansas area.

The cost to attend is $90 per person and $70 for each additional person from the same farm. This includes handouts, lunch for both days, and farm tour transportation.
