O-STEAM’s Leader Deb Wilson was nominated to apply for Reader’s Digests- America’s Favorite Teacher.
This is a voting competition that lasts through 9 rounds, starting March 25th.
So it’s up to y’all to help reach the Finals- May 24-30.

The company assisting with this process for Reader’s Digest is a nonprofit organization, “TEACH FOR AMERICA” and the donations go to help with the awards for this contest-
One excellent educator will appear in Reader's Digest magazine, win a trip to Hawaii, and take home $25,000.
If awarded this America’s Favorite Teacher contest- her plan for the $25,000 is to help fuel potential dreams- 1) Fund a regional Middle School Drone Competition; 2) Fund a regional STEAM Festival; 3) Purchase material & equipment to present at area rural school STEAM nights
Deb is an educator (K-12), Higher Ed. Adjunct instructor, Teacher Trainer, Keynote Speaker/Conference Presenter, and Nonprofit Education Founder to promote STEM/STEAM for over 46 years- It is her way of giving back to support our future workforce and showing students, Dreams can come True!
